The selection of candidates for admission to the 2019-21 batch of PGP-FABM at IIM Ahmedabad is a two-step process:
1. Candidates will be short-listed for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) and should have a valid CAT/GMAT score and satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme.
2. Shortlisting and Selection Criteria for PGP-FABM 2019-21 Batch:
1. 70% weightage will be given to the scores of CAT and 30% weightage to the Application Rating Score.
2. Shortlisting of candidates for bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any non-agricultural discipline will be provisional.
Application Rating:The application rating looks at the applicants' academic performance (marks obtained) in 10th Standard Examination, 12th Standard Examination and Bachelor's Degree Examination. The criteria for application rating score will be as follows: For 10th and 12th Standards: The applicants will be assigned rating scores ‘A' and ‘B' based on their percentage of marks obtained in 10th and 12th standard examinations respectively.
For Bachelor's Degree: The applicants will be assigned a rating score ‘C' (See Table 1) based on the percentage of marks received in the Bachelor's degree.
