Mission

History

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali is an autonomous research and education institute established in the year 2007 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The minimum eligibility required to apply for the Ph.D. program is Master’s Degree/ B.Tech./ MBBS/ M.Tech. with good academic record (at least a high second class). Applying candidate should be GATE/ CSIR or UGC-NET/ JEST/ NBHM-JRF/ GPAT/ ICMR-JRF/ DBT-JRF/ DST- INSPIRE qualified in the relevant subject.

Highlights

1. The basic directive of the IISER is to execute research in frontier areas of science and to provide quality of science education at the undergraduate, postgraduate level and research level.

2. BS-MS Dual Degree program, Integrated Ph.D. and Ph.D. programs are courses offered by IISER Mohali.
