Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology was established in year of 1983 as Delhi Institute of Technology. • It was granted administrative autonomy in 1986 and registered as a society in the name of "Delhi Institute of Technology” (DIT) on 12 June 1987. • Affiliated to University of Delhi for all its programs of UG, PG and Ph.D., the institute began its Ph.D. programs in 1989. • The Institute was formally inducted in its own new Campus in Dwarka, New Delhi, on 23 January 1997 by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, then Prime Minister of India and in the year 1997 renamed as “Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology” (NSIT).
1. There is a close interaction between the Institute and various company executives have created an excellent placement record. 2. On the basis of records available, almost all the students who graduated in the current year have secured jobs either in Multinational companies, Private and Public Sector Undertakings and Government Departments with many students being offered multiple jobs. 3. So far a high percentage of our eligible students have been offered jobs by reputed firms.
